Cafea foarte bună,personalul amabil,drăguț. Sigur o să revin.
I went there with my friend because I really wanted to see how the coffee shop is today. I was there a few years ago when I was still at school and I remember being fascinated by the place because you could get a book from the bookstore and just go to the coffee shop and read it. The first thing I noticed is that you can no longer enter the place directly from the bookstore, which is quite a pity, but not a big deal. The interior is really small and the decor is terrible and sticky, it looks like they just threw what they had on the shelves without considering if it looks good. There was even a box with toilet paper rolls right next to our table. The Barista was a loud, rude lady who didn't really know what she was doing. I even saw how she messed up another client's order and got milk all over the counter, and she would banish with some costumes she was familiar with. The atmosphere felt more like a rural pub than a café in the city centre, and I didn't feel comfortable at all. The coffee itself was pretty bad. There were not many options and they were from some of them. The Frappe I got actually came from a powder mix instead of actually being coffee. The taste was ok, but there was a lot of powder on the bottom of the cup so I couldn't finish it. My friend ordered an Americano coffee and he said it was the worst coffee he ever had, it was like someone who just mixed in hot water at coffee booths without actually brewing the coffee. It tasted watery with pieces of coffee place swimming in it. We have decided that we will not return, there are much better cafés and cafés in the city. I am very disappointed as this is a good place to get a drink as it is right next to the bookshop, but it is not worth the effort.
Small and cozy in Constanta's old town. Many options, but the signature coffee is the Turkish sand coffee served in certain cups. A really nice surprise.
