Il Giardino - CONTIGLIANO

We were only customers but still pastas didn't come at same time for 6 people. Food was okay and we enjoyed both antipasto and pasta. Place was amusing and relatively cosy. Waiter didn't inform us which courses from the menu were available for lunchtime so we needed to make re-choosing couple time.

Not very welcoming place also due to the very poor education and tact of the owners. Some time ago I organized a dinner there for my daughter's birthday who was celebrating with her middle school classmates. In addition to a pizza of really poor quality when it came time to pay the I was slapped in a rather aggressive manner by the owners because one of the boys had stained a curtain in the restaurant. All it took was a minimum of intelligence to point out the issue and I would have taken the curtain to the laundry at my expense. Given that in a restaurant these are expected washing curtains and tablecloths! Instead I paid a bill of more than 200 euros, promising myself never to set foot there again. To be a restaurateur, it's not enough to open a place, you also need to know how to deal with the public. Ignorance reigns supreme.

Only the dishes are good. Little choice on the menu. Everything else is terrible. There is no kind of respect for the customer. More than an hour to have a first course. The same goes for the second course. Lots of complaints in the room, many people leaving their tables. And the waiters, 2 more than enough for the few people present, made fun of us, reassuring us that it was cooking and that everything would arrive. Entered at 1.45pm and left at 5pm for a first course (4 cheese gnocchi) and a second course (mixed grill).

Fantastic grilled meat! I had never tasted a steak like this, you can feel the meat being very fresh... incredibly friendly service and a more than fair price. to be done again without a doubt.

Pizza cooked in a wood oven, dough and spread like a Roman pizza (not the Neapolitan type), all overall very good, good quality seasoning ingredients. The only flaw, perhaps a little long waiting times, to get 7 pizzas to take away we had to wait more than an hour.
