A lot of money for what you get, stayed for 3 nights as a birthday and wedding anniversary treat, Was shown our room, no mention of breakfast, or going in and out while pub was closed, Had to keep asking tea, coffee sugar as it was not replenished, was on top floor had to go get milk every time we wanted tea, Bedroom was ok a bit dusty, nothing special, they need bigger towels, A lot of money for what you got, Bar staff ok but need to ask who next instead of just serving who ever,

Great selection of food, pub classics too. I had the steak and my partner had veggie sausage and mash and both were wonderful. Staff were really friendly, dogs welcome and dog treats on the bar. Loved the atmosphere too.

Lovely pub well situated very clean and friendly however no breakfasts available all toiletries except soap or handwash and no milk for refreshments didn't sample the food I dined out but lovely beer garden

Gorgeous pub, friendly staff and phenomenal grub and very reasonably priced great selection of food and drinks too, can’t recommend enough!

We booked in for a nice Sunday roast. Unfortunately the roasts hadn't been delivered. We decided to stay anyway but my mushroom pudding was tough at the bottom,my husband's pasta very ordinary but my son enjoyed his chicken platter. The staff are very welcoming but we were so disappointed about the lack of roast dinners after a long walk
