Bananapalm Vietnamese Cuisine - Coogee

Eating was good, I wouldn't say amazing. I felt like there was a few simple things missing. we ordered a couple of escapes. the salt and the pfeffer squid, the soft-shell baskets and the betel-blatt-rib all came without a dipping sauce. the Betel-Blatt-Rind was a bit abandoned. the main thing was a bit better and more tasteful. the prices are decent.

Really amazing eating. fresh delicious ingredients, allergy friendly, great staff. we had taken every night we spent in coogee on vacation from here. can't blame it.

I was a one-way here and now, where I think about it, I don't know why I haven't been back since. the atmosphere, the decor and the eating were nothing less than amazing!

Ate here 3 years ago and loved it. Return to coogee this year and decided to return to this restaurant with the beautiful decor. we were not disappointed, but again the food was delicious. clotted, rice paper rolls and pork filled garnel for entrée. all were so fresh and bursting with taste. we tried the lambship curry, while very nice I prefer, a more traditional dish. my favorite was the posing chicken salad (I drove it cold, but its warm) will be a task to try to find a dish as good as this everywhere in melbourne.

We need to correct a few things here. Hard to find? Are you serious? This place is on the street wirh a huuuge sign above a huuuge door. Must be blind not to see it. Noisy, yes but it's not an intimate dining experience with groups of 8plus at tables. Noise can be expected. Food was very good and typically flavorsome as per Vietnamese food. Staff efficient and friendly and all meals arrived in time. Nothing to fault.
