Stroud's Barbeque - Cookeville

I ordered 5 pulled pork sandwiches that came with dry pork when I was told the bbq was on the pork only got 2oz of bbq sauce. I called was continuously talked over by a rude manager. I DO NOT RECOMMEND! CHECK YOUR FOOD IF YOU GO HERE. -5star service!

The BBQ was yummy. But my sandwich was pitiful. I've never seen so little meat on a bun. It was maybe 1/2 thick in one spot and didn't meet the edges. Maybe they were trying to stay competitive? I would have gladly paid more to have the correct amount ofmeat on my sandwich. It would have made a good kid's meal.

My family visited this restaurant recently. We are always looking for the best BBQ in town. Unfortunately, this restaurant didn't impress us. The food was decent and we could eat it, but it didn't exceed our expectations.

I had an amazing experience at this BBQ restaurant. I used to live in Cookeville years ago and Strouds was a favorite of mine back then. The food was exceptional and prepared exactly as requested. I highly recommend this place!

The service was excellent, the staff were very friendly, and the food was delicious! I especially enjoyed the BBQ nachos, as well as the tasty pork sandwich and Brunswick stew. I will definitely return the next time I am in Cookeville.
