The Cooktown Cafe

Should be renamed Crooktown Cafe. Don’t waste your time or money here. The kids cheese burger and fries for $9.50 looked and tasted disgusting. The cheap meat patty was between two pieces of brown bread cut into round shapes then toasted. I thought it was a joke when we opened the box. My chicken salad for $8.50 had 5 small chicken bites in it. The salad chicken wraps was just about edible. Food: 1

Pretty stingy portions, should at least feel full if I'm paying 20$ for fish and chips

Male owner of shop extremely rude. We purchased breakfast in this shop, 4 meals, 3 of which were wrong when they arrived. Upon finishing our meal waiting for the kids to gather their things get up from the table, the owner yelled at my husband for standing on the pathway outside the shop! Public place plus we were paying customers. Will not go back. Shame to have such a poor experience in an otherwise lovely town (which would rely on tourists).

Avoid this place. Never had a customer service as bad before

A nice lunch had there today! Potato scallops, h/burger, chic. filets and milkshakes were all yum! Thanks!
