Costa Coffee - Copeland

If you're looking to spend 15 minutes waiting for a lukewarm coffee that costs £3.85, then this is the perfect place for you. The staff here are also the most miserable in the world.

We took our son to the restaurant for his usual hot chocolate. There were four people working behind the counter on Sunday, July 30th. Unfortunately, the service was not great. One person didn't know how to make a smoothie, one girl was playing with her hair while serving customers, and the other staff member left the till unattended when help was needed. Eventually, another staff member came out from the back and things started running more smoothly. However, I had to wait for about 20-25 minutes for three drinks, one of which was just a black tea. It seems like more training is needed for the staff, and it would be better not to have all trainees working at the same time. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

The food is expensive but delicious, with consistently excellent customer service. A 4 out of 5 star rating seems appropriate.

Went in for two take out drinks, ended up waiting an age. I don 't mind a wait if staff look like they 're doing what they can to hurry things along (been there myself, used to work in hospitality), but that was not the case...especially stopping in the middle of taking payment to have a non-relaged chat with another staff member. I think a bit of training is needed to speed things up to normal service speed...or at least a sorry for your wait would be nice.

Get it? cos it means cost a!!! but we had a class time munching on do nuts and cofie rawr xd lool #WpuldGoAgain
