Nice to see different meal times on a menu was only 8 weeks open at the time of this review, but still so they will be a success. some. locals run on the last call, but the gas house will definitely overtake them in no time.
I already wanted to try one because eating the chef, have built a good call and follow both the local and the visitors since his days as an independent seller. I found that eating to be a real taste. I had. the Herwick-Mutton Pastrami flat leaf, which was both plentiful and tasteful. much enough that I took the half of the flatbread to work the next day to experience the experience again. various (good) and delicious. my wife had the pasta. again, much more. tasted to another wise thing I had done with similar things before. can't put my finger on what it was that it was different, but much taste goes on. two dessert selections in the night chocolate brownie and sticky fabric pudding. Wife is a knower of brownies and it was at the point. stp didn't try, but good on the table next to us that had ordered it. personal really friendly, helpful and courteous. dogs welcome, but liked how the blessed was. dogs in the bar, but not the wider restaurant / it area. astonishing view from window to mouth. fantastic sunsets with the right weather. well done go pete.
We ate here twice during our trip to the lakes. eating is excellent. the beer was also great. very friendly and friendly. eating is not their typical pub-grub, it is much better and very good value for money. the seafood dishes are as good as it gets, really good things. You can tell the cook he knows his things.
It’s a boozer charging gastro prices with a limited menu and options go to the hotel . I went there last night got asked to wait half hour so ok and almost an hour later I go a menu and asked what I’d like to...eat I had scoliops for £10 which were very small and came the three massive lumps of black pudding greasy too , not well presented cooked or tasty also cheap scollops IMO. far too small. Main I had the £25 kebab served on a very soggy flat bread , the meal had no flavour what was there was very simple and plain. The desert was ok but hey I’m £48 down and left most of my main . Today I’m near by much better.
Trip advisor pages need updating as these say it opens at 12.00, but when I arrived today at 12.30 (24th May) it was closed with a chalk board saying it was opening at 14.00. I was looking forwards to Sampling some of the Stornoway Black...Pudding from the new lunch menu...
