Jamsen's Bakery - Copper Harbor

Prettiest morning. Enjoyed the coffee and thimbleberry turnover. Perfect. Wish I got the syrup or if there was jam.

Great pastries and great coffee. Nice waterfront location to boot. The wild thimbleberry turnover pronounced excellent. I had pannukakku (Finnish pancake) topped with the thimbleberry jam. A custardly treat that should have been reheated just a little more but was still awesome. The black coffees strong and flavorful as promised.

Outstanding breakfast and coffee with a great view! To be clear they do not have a fish market. Maybe they used to?

Love this place. Love the food (shout out to Thimbleberry Season for the doughnuts). Love the location and view of Lake Superior. 10/10 would recommend to any visitor to the Harbor wither its their 1st or 100th time there.

Jamsen’s Bakery is a quaint boat shack coffee shoppe bakery that’s a must try if you’re staying in Copper Harbor. I recently stayed at Trails End Campground 5 minutes west and like many others stopped here waiting to board the ferry traveling to Isle Royal. I ordered a medium roast coffee, the native thimbleberry glazed donut, and a sausage, egg cheese biscuit sandwich. Everything was delicious and the view of Lake Superior made it that much better. Definitely recommend and look forward to it on your next visit to Copper Harbor.
