Feedback gevenI have been a frequent customer at Mr. Mikes for as long as I can remember, but my recent visit was extremely disappointing. My husband and I decided to celebrate Valentine's Day at the restaurant, despite only being able to get late reservations. I ordered a medium New York steak with panko shrimp and fries, while my husband opted for a rare rib eye in the traditional style. Unfortunately, both steaks were severely undercooked. My steak was rare, while my husband's rib eye was almost blue-rare. Additionally, the panko shrimp never arrived, even though I had paid for it. It seems like there may be new management at Mr. Mikes, as I have never experienced such poor quality before. I doubt that I will be returning anytime soon. The waitress was decent, but she failed to notice that my shrimp was missing. I was so distracted by the undercooked steak that I only realized the mistake once I was home and reheating my leftovers. Overall, I would not recommend dining at Mr. Mikes anymore.
My dining partner and I enjoyed a delicious meal of steak and lobster at this restaurant. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was enjoyable. The only issue we had was with the wine service - we wished they had checked on us more frequently to offer more wine. Despite this, the overall service was still pretty good. My only complaint is that even though I made a reservation several days in advance and there were plenty of available spots at that time, we were given a central table instead of the booth I had requested. The staff informed us that all booths were already reserved. Despite this inconvenience, we still had a wonderful time and would definitely revisit this restaurant in the future.
I made reservations five days in advance and upon arrival, I asked for a booth with better lighting. The staff initially said that other tables were reserved, but eventually granted my request. However, we were then informed by the manager that we had only 90 minutes to eat before we had to leave to make room for other customers. This felt like poor customer service and it somewhat ruined our evening. There were plenty of empty booths throughout the night, so it was confusing why we had to rush. I recommend dining elsewhere and was disappointed by the treatment we received.
Server was great the steak was very very bad not cooked right and manager argued with me. I will not be going back ever. Mr.Mikes is a steakhouse that can not cook a prime rib steak medium rare to save their lives.
My family dined in last night.The food tasted great, as always. My concern is their new portion sizing and increased cost to smaller portions. My shaved beef sandwich was only half a beef shaved sandwich. I thought at first it was a lunch portion,Unfortunately, it was not. Then I bit into it, and there was a hair.It was quickly replaced, and they did comp it. $23Considering this location was shut down for some time for renovations, I don't see any changes. The bathrooms were dirty, and the paper towel was sitting on top of the paper towel dispenser in a big roll. The change table is broken and almost hit my child on the head because the spring in it is broken and I had a hard time keeping it up. The sanitary disposal bins had no bags either.When it came time to pay the first lowest automated tipping option is 18%!!!!! Do they not pay a minimum wage? I asked head office and they didn't say no. They just said sorry you didn't like your experience. We will use this information to do better. Sorry we lost your business, Have a great day.I didn't complain to our server as she was amazing and very apologetic. We also tipped well as It's not her fault Mr. Mikes has forgotten about their customers.Mr. Mikes you can do better.
