Coastal Cafe - Coquitlam

We were unsure about the quality of food on the ferry (since there were no other options), but we were pleasantly surprised. The meal was not extravagant, but it was satisfying.

While on the ferry with limited options, I decided to get the eggs benedict. It was decent considering the circumstances.

We had a pleasant dining experience on our journey from Tsawwassen to Nanaimo. The prices were very reasonable and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals.

I got the coastal Benny, the egg muffin wasn't even toasted, cold ham and hollandaise sauce. The only thing that was decent was the hashbrowns and I was still so hungry afterwards I had to get fruit so I knew I wasn't being ripped off...again. Worst meal I've ever had. Can't even believe they call themselves chefs. My triples O's on my way to Vancouver was great but coastal cafe has proved to be the crappiest purchase I ever made.

Surprised just how good this comfort food is. Crazy the Wife had the chicken fingers and Caesar Salad, she enjoyed them and there was plenty of food for her to fill up on. I had the beef dip and it was one of the best,...if no the best, that I have ever had. I think the bun was covered in garlic butter which was a nice touch, the beef was tender and the au jus was perfect. Crazy the Wife gave me trouble for actually drinking it out of the cup. The pricing was fair and the quality exceeded our expectations.
