If you download their M Cafe app and order from the app, you can have a 10% discount. So... downloaded from our friends the app and ordered from there and we saved 10%. The ordering part took us more than 10 minutes because it even asked you how to make your coffee, more sugar, less sugar or normal sugar, such as the cream, more, less or normal. 6 of us, that took some time. But we had fun. It didn't take long until our orders arrived. It's called a fast service. I like the ДOREς, Stir-fried noodle with seasonal vegetables and roasted chicken . Happy Travelling!
It's almost a year since my last visit, in the area for meetings, for bubble tea, end up in M Cafeside Village, near Coquitlam Centre, , their concept is H K-style coffee, always breakfast ,Lunch , goinner , with touch... from Western Food, their signature dishes is the set combo, a lot of choice, you can totally like it won't be my aroma spot for lunch or dinner.
Food: decent, not always consistent Service: short and cure To begin, let me preface by saying that the restaurant owners have every right to run the business as they see fit. I mean, it's her place to make her rules right? That's just... one opinion, so take it for what you are. If you're ever rushing in a hurry to get a table, or it's very busy here (Dink Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner, etc) I hope you're not too hungry because you won't get a table in time. The front of the house (middle aged Asian male who usually ticks his tie in his dress shirt) plays favorites with people who come to put their name on the waiting list. They have an open notebook they use to record names and how many people in this party. No time or number system is used here to find out who came in what order. A priority list and a secondary list appear in this notebook. Most walk-ins appear in a secondary list. If you're placed there, good luck. Our names were written well 10 minutes before group B even came to the building. A person from Group B entered the main room, waved Hello to Mr. Front of House and exchanged some greetings. Your name was immediately placed in the priority area of the notebook. In the end they sat before us. Note that this restaurant 's cut-off times for your menu (11:30am to breakfast/5:30am to lunch) is very strict. Your staff will not advise you before you sit that the cut-off time approaches or actively ask if you want something in the breakfast/lunch menu when the time is close. Although I understand why the cut-off times, the kitchen staff needs time to finish and change orders. Most of the interaction (except for payment) is now done via apps. Contact tracking takes place via a QR code and the order is also made with a QR code for the table. A constructive suggestion would be a kind of electronic que system (i.e., they give how many people, it prints a ticket) with a TV screen mounted high to show who is next in the line for their table. Many places do this now, with some reviews sites that also offer this service. Especially in times of Covid 19, this would be a good way to get the crowd of people who are loitering and communicating in the waiting area if they were to be ready. If these are their rules, no problem. I'll just choose to spend my money elsewhere.
Very inconsistent quality regarding hygiene practices in covid times. Their flippant attitude towards hygiene feedback is an important cause for concern. My visit today, we asked and handed over paper menus that were reused more than once with stains and previous orders. This is not only unhygienic with old and unclean menus, but also all servers that touch the menus and then handling your food is problematic. When I spoke to the staff of my concern, this was how it was (not discussed). I do not think this is safe, hygienic and worse that public perception is not good. Server, reuse of paper is better for the environment. And we leave it for a week before we use it again to be sanitary. Me. You have deleted previous people's order, do not check whether there are spots on the menus, how can we trust you have left it for 7 days? Servers, also other high-class restaurants I was, also use their paper menus. Me. Your practice has no influence on your practice. If you wanted to save the environment, laminate the menus and give people dry extinguishing sticks. Server, yes, but then we would have to delete it every time? RESULTS AND REUSING PAPIER MENUS AFTER A WEEK is EASIER. Me, is that so? Don't you wipe the tables? Don't you clean the dishes? Server, clearly we have our differences in the way we see things.... We used to be relatively regular in this restaurant. You have our order last time two weeks (cooked chicken and unsalted dish, which at least took seriously and talked to the kitchen) and then that? No, not back.
We went to MCafe Hong Kong style restaurant 2773 Barnett Highway in Coq last night. I had called one day earlier to reserve a table for their Valentine Day special. They confirmed over the phone they had Valentine special. When we arrived they had totally...forgotten about their own ad and pretended they never heard about it. I showed them the ad online. Reluctantly, they agreed to serve us their Valentine meal for two. The portion was not enough for even one person. The dessert was supposed to be chocolate lava cake but they did not have any. so they served rice without even letting us know!!! Maybe assumed we could not tell the difference!!!Overall we paid almost 100 and had to have dinner afterwards somewhere else. Terrible experience. Will never go back. Complete rip off. Turned our V night to bad memory!
