Nulife Living Food Cafe - Coquitlam

Definitely a very friendly, very nice place to eat at but there are definitely also many reasons why we were the only customers on a weekday lunch there. This may not be something that can be helped too much, but the prices here are very high for you're getting. I understand that this is the price you pay when you eat out at organic and healthy establishments but hoo boy was it up there. The quality was good, though the wrap was definitely not one that you could eat like a buritto-style(that was my first mistake). No, you're meant to cut into it with a knife and fork. If you tried to pick it up and eat it with your hands, it just totally falls apart. The bowl was great stuff. But overall because of the general expense of this place, it feels like you're paying more of a dinner price to have lunch at. Still a recommended place, even if you'll only be here just every once in a while.

Horrible service! Both times I have eaten here for lunch it has taken at least 20 minutes to get my food. The second time I went they made me something different than what I ordered. When I inquired about it, they said they weren't sure what I ordered (they should have asked). The lady seemed annoyed that I wanted her to make the sandwich I actually ordered. At no point did she apologize. Even after the second remake she still missed one of the key ingredients (the coconut curry) and just ended up eating a wrap with a bunch of peppers. Definitely will not be back.

My partner and I ate here for the first time yesterday and I was very impressed. My partner had the avocado toast with tomatoes and he was stuffed as the bread used was a live sprouted bread so it was very filling. I had a coconut wrap that was filled with veggies and taco meat ' which was made from almonds and other bits seasoned to perfection. It is somewhat on the pricey side, so it 's good for a treat now and then. Service was decent and the staff were friendly. I would go back here again for a healthy meal in a relaxed atmosphere.

Overpriced Foods alright but I really wish they would consider adding in proteins to their dishes such as tofu. Got the Tabouleh salad and literally just a huge bowl of just greens... for $17..... Had to remind them it should come with their raw bread as they had even forgotten to give it to me... if you are in dire need for a cleanse MAYBE the place for you. Otherwise more decent options available in the area...

This new place is such a blessing to Coquitlam! Thank you owner for opening this place on Glen so I can eat amazing raw food everyday!!! This is not just raw food; it is fantastic, well thought, cooked to perfection raw food that everyone needs to try. The bread is phenomenal, the cashew cream is soft and fluffy, the taco wrap means business and the earl grey lattes with raw almond milk are heaven. Only con, cause I have to keep it real, is the staff 's stuff going behind the scenes. I 've been there a few times and each time, there 's some disputes going on amongst them. The actual service is friendly but when you sit down and eat you can hear them fight, see them rolling their eyes,etc. Also stuff is not familiar with food items. I once asked someone if the dessert was raw and she had no clue what that was . Overall I highly recommend this place! Pros: -fantastic healthy raw vegan food options made to perfection -amazing lattes -friendly service -cute decor Cons: -prices are high-ish: 6:50/ latte -staff not trained on food items they offer -staff fighting in front of customers
