Sol Lee's Korean - Coquitlam

I got jjajangmyeon and gganpunggiThey were both on the sweeter side so 1 star off, but it fulfilled my craving for good korean chinese food. I would go again.

Um, I usually don't leave reviews but holy smokes this was the best 중식 I've ever had in BC! The fried chicken with sweet and spicy sauce just melts in your mouth with a smoky/fiery aftertaste and the portion was huge! Both black bean sauce noodle and spicy seafood noodle soup are delicious and taste freshly cooked. Honestly, I would definitely come back for more soon! Also our server lady was kind and attentive and made sure we were taken care of from start to finish. 10/10!!!

We had family combo B . It was so tasty better than we used to eat same dish at Korea.

Took my parents out for some Korean Chinese food, and was immensely disappointed…Jjambbong and fried rice had stale squid and shrimp, very typical of frozen foods not cooked thoroughly.We sat where a speaker was directly above our table and the music was unbearably loud; we couldn’t converse at all and were even having headaches at the end of our meal.No one came to check on us since we were in the corner room table, or we would have asked that person to lower the volume…But very little service, no water, no napkins, no “how’s your meal?”Will not return, it’s a shame our go-to place was closed (because it was Sunday).

As I was walking up to the restaurant I could see a few staff smoking which isn’t really an issue. However, once I got inside I sat near the entrance and as they came back in absolutely reeked of cigarettes. I saw them walk into the back and I sat there for about 10 minutes before one of those staff that were outside smoking came out to help me. And as she did this girl tosses the menu on my table without even looking at me and still smelling like she was chain smoking all day, absolutely killed my appetite. After that a different server took my order and she was much more friendly and polite. Food was good but something should be done to make sure no one has to deal with such brutal customer service by this server.
