I hate to say this, but this is the place where the staff will serve you less if you are not in leading or formal or golfing clothes than those who are. I went as a maid to stay at night for my best friend's wedding. I thought we were going straight to bed or hanging in the hotel room, like a busy mother, I went straight with leggings and a tshirt, fresh shower, ready for bed. Lol. My group wanted a little bit in the bar. I had a MOH language to deliver and my voice was mad near getting a cold. The waiter had given my group a not so friendly service, although they all drink quietly, but I told the waiter if I had some tea please. Everything else would not help me tomorrow. He literally told me he has no time to serve me tea. My best friend was annoyed at this point and told him you could just bring us some hot water and tea bag and she'll literally make the rest herself, man? He went to other parties and a while later he brought me hot water and lemons that I didn't even touch the lemons that worked in the restaurant before, dealing with this attitude and too, you ask his choice not to touch the lemons with dirty hands while they grab them. By the way, I was charged. Lol The ambience, the live singing and the food are beautiful, but I am twice back in the Biltmore for various events as a guest, but although it is the Biltmore 's Hangout area, I did not want to go back to the area that is very vain and felt like less of something, with me not to serve. What if I was pregnant and couldn't drink and just wanted tea? I've been in this position before. Please take this as lessons. Please teach your employees not to reject a person with what they're dressed or like. The Biltmore is not cheap, we all know that, but it is also a hotel and we are not there strolling through victims. At night I was a tired mother who was willing to take a long day for my best friend. I had priorities. My party drank all kinds of drinks, one had even ordered his Macallan as he works for the brand Macallan. My bestfriend is a product owner at one of the pioneering companies here in South Florida, the other a marketing specialist and wedding planner, with their husband visit an engineer from NYC. It's just to explain that we were not a roudy young crowd. We are all young professionals and tried to enjoy the bar as you can see from my water with lemon image. Lol.. I'm so stubborn the waiter said he didn't want to serve me. It was very exhausting from an experience that I was as if annoying were served that would not bring me back. I'm going to be invited to events at the Biltmore for work, but if I ask if I want to go to the bar, I'll tell them why I don't.
I'm so sad to write this review. Absolutely disappointing experience. The Biltmore is not what she was once. Crazy of time. With the new face of the Gables. Lucky to have experienced them while they were special. Now it's casual, stinky, old, but with a cheap amount. Explains why they have attracted this new segment of society. It is no longer special, raised or a leak. Our drinks were fine. I'm pretty sure I'm not the vodka I ordered. I'm sensitive to what I drink, and I know when I had something different than what I'm used to drinking. We all made jokes that we felt poisoned. Who knows what alcohol they gave us. I will not come back unless they are back to their previous level. End of an era!
If you are hot and sweating after a day at Coral Gables or Miami, you should take a therapeutic visit to the Cellar Club Bar at the Biltmore Coral Gables. You will find how I did that the Biltmore Bar is a great place to meet friends, talk about golf and just relax. José and Katherine will do their best to make your day excellent. If you ask a late night visitor to do Jeffery the same thing! I just finished my third buddy and feel like being a permanent member of this “Cellar Club”. Actually, the old Boston bar called “Cheers” has nothing on the Biltmore Bar. It's just simple bar conversation here. Come and see if my opinion is one you can share! Cheers! From the Cellar Club Bar at Biltmore Coral Gables. By the way, there is also a 10 star golf course and the most beautiful pool in North America.
So much has changed, the food was never that good , but now the service is really bad. Poorly stocked. Pre packaged condiments. A good chef cuts all his French fries evenly, for uniform cooking. Also the bartender kept on putting disgusting incense after I asked her to put it out. U wanted to leave but there was no check or continuous service. I had to wait and wait in me seat because I didn't want to twist my neck
