Sweet As Fry - Coral Gables

Amazing!! Spectacular!! I can't emphasize how good the fried Oreos are!! We had the Nutella and red velvet and needless to say that it was delicious. Services was great as well and we were attended quickly.

As a girl that doesn't care for oreo cookies (calm down people) I was taken aback when I tried Sweet as Fry's fried oreos. I went for the funnel cake; it's my weakness. I'm so glad I made the drive and gave it a shot. Atmosphere: It's a cute little shop! Decorated with oreo boxes. There's limited counter space, but you're not there for a sit down dinner. Think of it as a fairground, carnivalesque; that's a word right? Anyway, it's great! You're not going to be there long either way. As soon as you see those little pieces of heaven, you're basically going to inhale it and it'll be gone. Service: It all feels familial. The owner is nothing short of amazing. He will recommend his favorite, but also tell you which are popular. I had actually chosen the popular set of oreos, and then added his faves in as well, and I am so glad I did. Food: Y'all, I don't think I could ever express just how perfect these fried oreos were. I've been to a few fried oreo spots and didn't like them, for the most part. There's this one place that overhyped themselves (bless their heart) and when you bite into their oreos, it's hard as a rock. Anyhow, back to the soft and deliciousness that is Sweet as Fry. These oreos MELT in your mouth, much like Olaf does in Frozen. It is the best thing to ever grace my life, and I've shouted praise for other food, but not like this. Now let's talk about the funnel cakes. Again, I look forward to the Youth Fair every year, solely for their funnel cakes. To know there's a place open year round that offers this, it's dangerous for my bank and my health. I added fruity pebbles to my funnel cake, and oh my dear sweet baby Jesus.. the soft fried dough mixed with condensed milk just brought out those fruity flavors even more. Okay.. I should stop before I drive over there again.

We went to Sweet As Fry about two weeks ago and I cannot stop thinking about them! The fried Oreos were the best I've ever had, not overly greasy or repugnant like fair Oreos can be! I ate 3 in one sitting and wished I had one more, but my bf and I stupidly only ordered 1/2 a dozen to share. I had the creme brûlée batter and he had the cinnamon! Go here, and cater all your dessert tables from here. You're friends will like you more lol !

So freakin goood!!!! They have a bunch of flavors available. They are made fresh to order and the price is great. It's $10 for a dozen. You're gonna walk out of there smelling like fried Oreo though the smell is pungent.
