Talavera Cocina Mexicana - Coral Gables

Took 15 minutes to see waiter, not sure how look it would have taken had we not flagged down a wait staff for help. Tables are so close on one side of restaurant, one waiter when passing stuck his hand in our tortilla basket to keep his balance when going around the chair in the table next to us. The loss of the tortilla chips common years ago and now replaced with a few large tortilla chip disks which are dry and divorced of any flavor kill the desire to dip into the flavorful sauces. I will say that the margaritas on our visit were really good. Sad that this restaurant has gone from one of our favorite Mexican restaurants, to now one we may go to if convenient on a given day.

Incredible Mexican dishes- enchiladas, short rib quesadillas, guacamole were amazing! The specialty margs as well! Beautiful high end area of restaurants and shops. Def would recommend the experience!
