Tapeo Eatery - Coral Gables

The service was cruel, an old lady who claimed to be the owner, I can't believe that she was chasing me to the men's bathroom and claimed that the restaurant was closed and literally dragged me with my maleness between my hands and threatened to call the police if I had not gone. that was 15 minutes after I left the place and spent over $200. I'm not sure if she didn't remember me or whether she treated her customers like that, but it was an absolutely crazy episode. how can they treat customers like that? what a ridiculous and disgusting way to behave. I have traveled to over 140 countries and have never experienced such a pathetic behavior in any restaurant. this place deserves to go out of business. service is not available and quality of food supplement.

It has a great atmosphere and the food is good. Great place to hang out and share a few drinks.

If you sort reviews by newest you will see Tapeo Miami recently gave themselves 5 stars. Every positive review is written by someone affiliated with Tapeo. If you look at Yelp the reviews are even worse.. This place is a SCAM being kept afloat by fraudulent PPP funds.

Service slow, my wine had a bug ,had to return it, portions of tapas are very small. Ordered two paellas, and one was burned. Even the bread were small slices and cold. Espresso coffee was terrible. In all, everything was bad.
