La Fontana Pizzeria Italian

I have been here for 14 years and the quality and freshness of the ingredients is consistent. Today was a pizza, but the rest of the menu is really authentic Italian cuisine. This is just my second review for every institution and today I had to write these comments about La Fontana. Really the best.

We were in the Coral Springs area and decided to stop for an espresso, but the café we usually visit was closed. Instead, we went to La Fontana and ordered a Regina Pizza. Now we’re regulars! Our server, Silvana, is amazing! She is always helpful, incredibly pleasant, and super patient as I practice my Italian with her. This place is always lively, yet the service and food are consistently excellent! The pizza features a thin crust topped with sliced tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, and basil. It reminded me of the Margherita pizzas I love in Naples. We finished every bite! There is plenty of comfortable outdoor seating available, and the atmosphere is very casual, plus there are many parking spots on site. We will definitely return to try more items on the menu. Thank you very much!

The Carbonara was pretty disappointing. It was dry and lacked creaminess, although the bacon was fantastic. There was also an odd taste from an ingredient I couldn’t quite identify. The breadsticks on the side were stale and seemed like they had been made days ago, so we ended up leaving those untouched. On a positive note, the meatballs were spectacular! I ended up using the meatball sauce to make the Carbonara more palatable. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant. The prices were reasonable. Interestingly, the restaurant was quite empty for a Friday night, but given the weather, that might have contributed. I feel compelled to write this review based on my own experience, even though it doesn’t align with the generally positive feedback I read before. Would I give them another chance? Possibly, as Carbonara may not be their specialty. But I must emphasize that the meatballs are definitely worth five stars!

I recently ordered here for delivery and am deeply concerned about the content. I have already informed the delivery service I used, but I want to leave this as a warning. I literally ordered a medium margarita pizza and a soup. When the food arrived, the pizza was ice-cold and the soup. I had to reheat everything and when I went to take my first few bites, I found pieces of what seems to be metal? Maybe Brillo-Pads? It is extremely disturbing and dangerous to serve others. I don't care about a refund. I was dining a few times and had a terrible experience with service, but the food was always good. Not sure what's going on, but that's a shame. I won't return.

The best pizza ever. If you want to eat the real pizza, La Fontana is the one. Delicious Italian food and amazing service.
