Feedback gevenI had another fantastic dinner at Tap 42 in Coral Springs! The shrimp cocktail appetizer and the homemade dipping sauces were outstanding. The skirt steak and plantains were incredible, and the filet was cooked to perfection, served with delicious macaroni and cheese on the side. Our server, Peyton, was very accommodating and extremely friendly.
The food was excellent; however, the skirt steak we ordered was quite small for the price we paid. I could find a better deal elsewhere. Our server was pleasant, but he did have a tendency to vanish. After he took our appetizer order, we waited quite a while after finishing before he returned to take our dinner orders, so we had to flag him down. I also had to seek out another waiter, who was much more attentive, to get drink refills. When we were done and he cleared some of our plates, we mentioned that we didn’t want anything else, but he disappeared once again. It took a while to finally get his attention again. The restaurant wasn’t particularly busy, and I noticed another waiter nearby who was handling his tables more efficiently.
The service was quick and the staff were friendly. It was a bit louder inside during happy hour compared to sitting outside.
Tap 42 was excellent food was amazing and we see Tap 42 has added several serious and worthy and welcomed steak entrees to their menu! Shrimp Cocktail appetizer was perfect and homemade/restaurant made cocktail sauce was not out of a bottle! Brussels sprouts were amazing, too. Strawberry Tres Leches dessert was the sweetest ending to a delectable dinner. Great service by our server, Genevieve.
