Asda Corby Superstore

I am gluten intolerant and the only thing that looked edible to me was the soup with a roll. I asked the staff if they had gluten-free rolls, but they didn't seem to know and told me to look at the menu. When I checked the menu, it just said to ask the staff. In today's world, it should be clearly labeled. This used to be a great cafe, but it has gone downhill since a big corporate firm took over. The food is cheap, but I would rather pay more for better quality food and service. The coffee was also terrible. I will never be coming back. The tiny bowl of soup was even cold.

Went in for la light lunch.As usual, the place was understaffed and understocked. The coffee machine wasn 't working AGAIN! There were no pizzas and the ovens were off. There was also no all day breakfast items. This was before 1.00 pm on a Saturdsy lunchtime!! On this occasion the til was actually working ok !!!! The staff are pleasant but ALL are stressed out and it shows! They have to handle a barage of complaints from customers dissatisfied withthe service!!!!. Please please please do something to improve it as soon as possible. The quality of food in general is really poor and has been so much better previously!!!!

I went to this restaurant for the second time in 4 months, and unfortunately, it was just as disappointing as the first visit. The coffee was tepid and weak, which was the same issue I had the first time. I expect a $2.45 coffee to be hot, flavorful, and served in a clean cup, but once again, this was not the case during my second visit.

I went for lunch today with my son and was extremely disappointed. We ordered a chicken and pesto panini meal, but when it arrived, it was more like a baguette with two small pieces of sliced chicken in it - and I mean small. I wanted to order the fish and chips as listed on the menu, but was told they didn't have any fish. I then tried to order the lasagne also on the menu, but was told they didn't have that either. They did have scampi, so in the end, that's all I could order. When it eventually arrived, it was actually scampi bites that resembled small marbles. The food was very dry and tasteless, and the tables had not been cleared or cleaned. I will not be eating there again and would rather eat at McDonald's across the street.

What has happened to Asda’s cafe? I remember 10 years ago it was a great place to meet and eat breakfast or lunch. I met a friend for a coffee and bit to eat at Asda Corby (location due to convenience and air conditioning in the heat wave). There was one guy serving on and off, he kept disappearing nowhere to be found. One person came In and gave up waiting. The tables were filthy the chairs ripped. There appeared to be no hot food, the menus were not on display. What a complete shambles. Sort it out.
