El Pimenton - Córdoba

We tried the fried eggplant, the tomato soup, the salad and the cod. The eggplant had a candy like taste. So good. I was hesitant to try the soup and it is very very delicious. We live near the ocean and I am particular to the fish I eat. All the ingredients are very flavorful and fresh. Very close walk from the Mosque/Church right along the river.

We found the place on our walk to the parking and desided to eat. Great food, fresh salads and very tasty. Pay attentin that the Empanada pollo is Shnizel like we eat in Israel. It was very good !!! Thank you

This was a nice place with low prices to stop and have breakfast seated outside by the river. If you are used to the soft, fluffy croissants served in France or the UK, I would recommend you avoid croissants here. They were hard and dry. I think that is the custom of serving croissants in Spain. However, the toast was delicious, crispy, yet not overdone, served with creamy butter, jam and orange juice. I would definitely go back!
