Taberna Juramento - Córdoba

I had lunch here to day. Left it up the waiter to choose for me, and ended up with two breaded and fried dishes. A plate of spinach and cheese croquettes to start (quite nice) and sausage shaped item called (I believe) a flamenqua, which is thinly sliced pork rolled around ham and cheese, then breaded and fried (less nice, though said to be typical of Cordoba). The real attraction is in the charmingly decorated rooms, many filled with natural light and hanging plants

Tucked away behind the Plaza de la Corredera is this fun little tavern. It is off the beaten path, authentic, has very good food, and is very inexpensive. We enjoyed croquettes with spinach and pine nuts, and a wonderfully tender pork dish in a tasty tomato sauce. It's about a 15-20 minute walk from the Mezquita.

You can eat very nice, all dishes are tipical. People are friendly. For nothing it is a luxury place, but the food is excellent and very cheap
