Cordova Catfish Place

The initial phone call to place my order was a bit rocky; I was on hold for quite a while, but overall, it wasn't a bad experience. Kudos to the kitchen staff for doing a great job, and a shoutout to the friendly front-of-house staff who greeted and assisted me. There was a seasoned woman at the register, whose name I can't quite recall, but she reminded me of my aunt – focused and friendly. Even with the common trend of higher prices nowadays, I would have given a perfect rating if I had received a larger portion of fries (or at least a roll or two), considering the cost. If they had included that, I would have awarded that last star. Here's how I would rate it: Service Friendliness: 5 Service Efficiency/Time: 4 Taste/Food Quality: 5 Cost/Food Quantity: 3.8 Overall: 4 Ultimately, the true test of a restaurant is whether you would return to spend your money there again. In the case of Raymond's, the answer is a definite YES!

I have to admit that the decor didn’t impress me at all. However, as soon as the food arrived, that’s where any mediocrity ended. The dishes were cooked to perfection, and the sauce for the wings was the best I’ve ever had. I tried the barbecue, which had a subtle hint of vinegar that balanced it beautifully. The food was served hot and was quite filling. The prices were reasonable and in line with expectations. Overall, this restaurant definitely earns all the 5 stars I gave it.

This restaurant offers fantastic food and outstanding customer service. The staff treats you like family. I’ve come here two days in a row for a meal. It’s definitely a must-try!

My daughter and I had a lovely mother-daughter outing today, and after hearing great things about this restaurant, we decided to give it a try. I was absolutely thrilled! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive—just wonderful all around. Our food was outstanding and well-seasoned. I ordered the fried pork chop meal, which came with macaroni and cheese, greens, and cornbread, while my daughter enjoyed the catfish fillet meal with spaghetti and coleslaw. I can’t wait to bring my husband back to experience this fantastic meal and superb service. I even jokingly threatened to “whoop” the chefs for creating such an amazing dish! Lol.

We visited a catfish restaurant, and the catfish was fantastic! The hushpuppies were great too! And those greens were absolutely out of this world! We ordered takeout, and everything was cooked to order, so it was piping hot when we got home. We will definitely be returning!
