The Butcher Shop Steakhouse Cordova

This was my first visit to The Butcher Shop. The restaurant was spotless, and our server was friendly and attentive without coming across as overwhelming. The food was absolutely fantastic. My husband and I were dining with another couple, and we were able to have a great conversation, thanks to the pleasant atmosphere, even with a party going on in the next room.

We lost our reservation despite calling twice. The restaurant has an old-fashioned vibe. The service was quite slow. The steaks were decent, but not enough to save the experience.

I placed a large to-go order, and it was handled perfectly. The food was beautifully seasoned and absolutely delicious. They have the best burgers and steaks in Memphis. I will definitely return. The staff is fantastic as well. I also appreciate that they allow Cars Coffee to host several Saturday mornings each month. I've attended those events, but I’ve never gone for lunch or dinner afterward.

The food was decent and the service was very good. Try again if not excessively busy. My burger was a sort of Bland and I heard other people nearby complain about their steaks bland. The salad floated in the dressing. I don't know who would think that's good. But I'll give him another shot.

Delicious, delicious steak. Filet mignon is so tender and easy to cut. The Cajun tossed Shrimp appetizer is also good.
