We originally stopped in, hoping to order a couple of drinks before moving on to another cocktail spot so that we were able to try out both places during our only night in Cork. After our first sips, we changed our plan and settled in at Cask. The flavors in the drinks were incredibly unique, like nothing we'd ever had before. During our visit, we ended up working through the entire menu, and were pleasantly surprised by a couple of drinks that didn't sound quite as exciting on paper. Throughout our tasting journey, we were really appreciative of the staff checking to make sure we would like some of the ingredients/spirits before fully ordering a drink (e.g., Poitín). We also had some great chats with Dan about the journeys of the bar and the cocktail scene in Ireland broadly. If you find yourself in Cork, do yourself a favor and stop by for a drink.
The Rump Cap Steak for €16.90 was Splendid . Compliments to the Chef.
Superb service coupled with great food, and wrapped in a picturesque setting. The waterfall certainly adds to the overall experience. I’m not typically one for shared plates, but there was more than enough to go around, and each plate, being so tasty, was difficult to ignore. This would be great for a date night.
We had such a lovely time outside in the heated pattio! Raur you were an absolute pleasure. Thank you so much
Harry was our server, he was very friendly, attentive but not over bearing. The food and drinks came out quickly. The portion size was perfect for 2 people. We shared the charcuterie board and wings. Outside seating I think calling ahead would be best for the patio. We were seated in a nice spot close to an open door. Perfect for a breeze. Nice place!
