Harty's - Cork

I visited Hartys bar and restaurant last Friday evening with some friends from work. I had never been before but I had heard so many compliments for the food and atmosphere. The whole experience from the time that we arrived and were welcomed to the...time that we left was a very enjoyable experience. The food was superb and the service was exemplary. The staff were so pleasant and accommodating and made our evening so relaxing and enjoyable. We will be returning soon. I would recommend it to everyone.

We are a family of four who were in East Cork for the day and were looking for a place to eat. Stopped here and were well looked after. The scampi were the nicest I have ever had. The cod had a light batter and...cooked perfectly. Portions were generous, and the price was very reasonable. Kids loved the lasagna and chicken wrap. Staff attentive and welcoming. We'll certainly be back!

I highly recommend Hartys restaurant. My family had my mom Dawn's birthday meal there on Sunday in July and the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was exceptional, compliments to the chef. A special thank you to Ann-Marie, Trish, and Sharon for their excellent service and ensuring everything went smoothly. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

From the time we arrived to the time we left, the service was amazing. They made us feel so welcome and the restaurant was modified with partitions. It was designed really well and had a romantic feel to it. The wine was really delicious ..we got a bottle of rioja. The food was a little disappointing. We liked the garlic mushrooms, salmon and prawn, chicken wings. The calamari was a little too greasy and overcooked. It was our first formal dinner out since the lockdown and unfortunately a little overpriced for the food that we got. We couldn't have wished for any better service though.

I went here last night for the first time with my family and it was excellent. It was a Saturday night so they were doing tapas. I think they Also do tapas on Fridays. I must say it was some of the best tapas I...ever had. Just as good as any in Spain. We shared about plates between the of us. All dishes were fantastic but my favourite were the mackerel, calamari and monkfish. The patatas bravas were also probably the nicest I ever had. The prices are very reasonable. All between and euro. The staff were also very friendly. This is a gem in east cork. Well done Harty’s.
