The Overdraught - Cork

Couldn't wait to visit John Cronin, the proprietor of The Overdraught. I've missed him so much from his days in NY. The Overdraught did not disappoint! What a wonderful place! His service was super and the lunch was awesome! The fried chicken sandwich was as delicious as the Guinness! I highly recommend a visit!

Every bite of every dish was second to none. Highly recommend the Scallops and Black Sole. Divine!!. Great to able to buy Rioja by the glass (or 3). Friends loved the mushroom with goats cheese, tempura trio special of the day, Banoffi and Berry Crumble. Well worth a visit. High quality bespoke food with wonderful hospitality in a quaint, warm enviroment.

Stopped here after a long day of shopping and site seeing. Had the early bird special.... was more than surprised at the quality of the food. We have been in Ireland for 3 days and it was the best meal we have had !! Highly highly recommend

Lovely early bird here Fri night. Staff were excellent.....especially seen as we had a boisterous 1 1/2 year old with us. At one point they entertained his “handstands” while we finished our food. Very family friendly, lovely food.

I had a gorgeous early bird meal here last Friday. Love how they have cleaned up n revamped the place while still keeping it's character.Lovely n friendly staff. Risotto was delicious. Will definitely be returning
