Welcome Inn - Cork

Absolutely don't dare order a premium whiskey cause you'll be thrown back your Monet from your previous order and asked to leave. I was in there tonight with my mother and had a few drinks, we were not drunk or rowdy. We enquired about the premium whiskey collection and inept bar man couldn't give us prices for the whiskey. Myself and the mother asked how much a midleton rare was and before we got an answer the bar man returned our money from our previous drinks and kicked us out. He was an absolute pig of a man. Absolute no reason for it. We were left furious. We will never go there again. Avoid like the plague.

The Welcome is 170 years old, Small, quaint with original decor. You can taste 100 different Whisky’s. Friendly locals.

Great Traditional Pub in the Heart of Cork City, very friendly people , We satyed in B&B overhead and everything was perfect. Grat place to chat and get information about the Real Cork

Called in here as we were waiting for the bus to the airport. It won't be everyone's cup of tea but we loved it. A real locals bar but the staff and the punters were friendly and the place oozed history and authenticity.. Class.

Me and partner stayed a night in Cork city after staying down in clonakilty over Xmas. We visited this pub on the Sunday before New Year and we had great end to a evening and stay in Ireland. We was actually on the way back to our hotel room and decided to pop in. We are so glad we came in, we was really enjoyed the nice intimate setting, everyone was friendly and it's a true Irish pub! Massive selection of Whisky, which is my favourite tipple,which pleased me and I enjoyed the beautiful singsong people were having in this pub. It's not fancy but you will be sure to have a good time!
