I had shrimp pad Thai and my wife had fried tofu pad Thai. Both excellent! I like the fact that these are Lao people because I have the flavors better than Thai, although similar. I had spicy #20 and my wife had #0. If I don't sweat, it's worth not getting! Oh, yeah! Only what I would recommend is that they remain authentic and not add so much sugar for American palates. Stay true.
Ruins Thai is an amazing restaurant. Unfortunately, the interior flushing is closed, but the kitchen remains open. The food is excellent and the staff is friendly. In any case, a place to return. Cheers!
Ruins Thai is a jewel of Northeast Georgia. The food is always fresh and the family that owns the restaurant is very friendly. Some personal favorites are: Red Curry, Massaman Curry, Panang Curry, and Thai Pad. My children enjoyed Massaman Curry as they could eat solid food first.
Great place to dine. Coconut soup is outstanding and I strongly recommend the pad king. Can be a bit too busy where seating and faster service can at times be an issue but overall...well worth the wait. This place is one of my top picks for the trip county area.
