Joeys only Seafood Restaurant

We go here almost every Tuesdsay for all you can eat. Its always hot abd tasty. Great fries. Friendly helpful service.

I do enjoy this unpretentious café. The service is great! The food is always hot and fresh, and there's plenty to choose from, even for landlubbers. The only drawback is the Subway restaurant next door - the shared washroom facilities mean you get to smell their plastic food when you need the facilities, but then you come back into Joey's, which doesn't smell fishy at all. Always a pleasure to be greeted by their friendly waitress. All you can eat fish taco night is a blast!

To begin I have to say that my parents had a fish and chip shop in London so I know what the real thing should be like. Unfortunately the fish was quite thin and overcooked. My wife's shrimp was cooked OK but her fish was also overcooked. We told the waitress when she presented us with the bill but she didn't seem too concerned by the criticism. We had not eaten in a Joeys Only for a year or more and were surprised to find the cost of the three piece Pollock meal had risen by $5. However, it did include choice of two side dishes to go with the fish, one of which was French fries. Doesn't fish and chips always come with French fries?

My wife had a craving for fish, good fish, so we went to Joey’s Only in Cornwall. She had the Alaskan Pollock and Shrimp with the accompanying wild rice and vegetable medley. The fish was cooked just the way she likes it: hot, moist, no batter and with just a light dusting of herbs. I’m not a fish person, so I had a Chicken Caesar Salad. The chicken was Blackened cooked Cajun style and was very tasty. Our server was very personable and efficient. This casual meal was a pleasant and enjoyable experience.
