Peppermills Grill & Bakery - Cornwall

We visited this restaurant over a month ago and decided to make a reservation again. Upon arriving at 6:30, we found that the restaurant was filled with wedding guests and decided to leave. Our server, Bailey, was excellent and always had a smile on her face. My partner ordered the steak, which was cooked perfectly, while I tried the seafood fettuccine. The Caesar salad was fresh and delicious, however, I was disappointed that the seafood in the fettuccine was smaller than expected and slightly overcooked. Despite this, the sauce was so amazing that I still enjoyed the dish. We had a wonderful shrimp cocktail on a previous visit, but unfortunately it was not available this time. Despite these minor setbacks, we had a great dining experience overall and would definitely return. The atmosphere and service were unbeatable. I would recommend making a reservation to avoid being turned away at the door.

We have been dining at this restaurant for years, ever since we stayed in the area for a week and enjoyed the food. Recently, we decided to give it another try. Our server, Junior, was excellent and the food was delicious with generous portions. The prices were reasonable as well. We ordered a 10-ounce steak, shrimp cocktail, garlic bread, Caesar salad, extra gravy, and a creamy alfredo pasta with chicken that was so filling I couldn't finish it. Everything was cooked to perfection. We also enjoyed a half liter of wine for under $25. We will definitely be returning in the future.

The service was friendly, but the food was mediocre. The BBQ ribs, which were labeled as being from the "supreme chicken," were just okay and lacked flavor. The sauce tasted like it came straight out of a bottle. My wife's shrimp meal was overly salty.

My husband and I travel across the country and tonight was our last stop before we return home. We stay at the Best Western and have decided to try the restaurant on site for a late dinner, the manager brought our drinks as the...Waitress was busy doing room service orders. My husband asked for a glass, but it never came, he went up and got one himself. Neither on Hahn beers were available, as the refrigerators were new. The restaurant was very quiet, only a handful of tables were occupied. The waitress finally took our order. We just wanted a few appetizers, 8 wings and an order from Nachos . After 40 minutes our simple order had not arrived and the table next to us received their order although they came to us in a few minutes. I can't evaluate the quality of the food as it never arrived. The waitress who brought our drinks bill seemed sympathetic and friendly. I hated to finish our journey on an acidic note, but this experience was certainly irritating.

HAve been going here at least once a month for 8 months now. Always amazing service and food. Geat cozy place with fireplaces..
