Feedback gevenFor my father's birthday meal, and my sister is gluten-free. We are a group of chefs; we can be hard to please. Our server was very knoladgable of the menu, and my sister with a gluten-free substitute for Naan, on the house. He took care of us very well. The food was nothing but amazing. I had chicken breeding and the rest for my family had the lamb. We enjoyed delicious rice, Naan and our curry dishes. Was an amazing meal when I'm in town, I'm definitely back.
Best Indian food in Cornwall hands down. I've been invaded twice now. Our server (I think the manager) went beyond and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy during our stay. Nothing but good things to say about food; if you are a fan of Indian food, you will not be disappointed. The decor inside is a bit boring, but is not a big thing when you taste the food. I have also ordered several times about SkipTheDishes, and the food is always hot and fresh. They forgot an article, called me as soon as they could, and sent me the article immediately. Great customer service, although some may feel that there is a small communication barrier when calling. Total; I recommend 100%.
There for lunch. Kellner was really polite and attentive. I didn't eat this kind of food, before and during his proposal we all had the buffet. Everything was amazing, eating hot and delicious. Tell the waiter how impressed we were with food and service and that we would come back and tell people about this place. Just reason why I gave 4 stars is not 5 because the chairs are very unpleasant. Quiet thing, but important to be comfortable. I suggest you try this place....
On the good side: The staff was polite, the price was reasonable and the service was quite fast. In the middle: The food was ok, not great, and I have eaten a lot of Indian food in recent years. The bad thing: I ordered Lamb Vindaloo and they brought me chickenmasala when I questioned this, they said that they made a mistake and had no lamb in their defense, they realized that they accidentally brought Masala and not Vindaloo, so they brought me an order from Vindaloo (also chicken) free of charge.
This is my first 2 star..I think. I wanted to start out with what I liked first. When you want in, the dining area is clean and well spaced. We were the only ones on there (party of 4) so I can't really gauge the waitresses attentiveness, but I will note she was very polite and kind. We got our menus and that is when we realized this wasn't going to be great. The restaurant was empty. Not only was there no chatter, but there was no sound except us. This left our table feeling unconfortable. The menus we got were double sided, one with the Indian cuisine and one with Canadian. We got our order ready and when someone at our table wanted something from the Canadian side, we were then told this wasn't allowed. I'm not sure if it's the time of night or not, but we should have been told prior to ordering. The food we got lacked bold flavour, however as I have nothing to compare it to, I didn't take any stars off my review. I can't say I won't go back, but this establishment won't be high on my list.
