Tasty food with a variety of drinks and served by extremely friendly staff. It offers small plates as well as large meals. We found it to be a perfect sheltered spot for a few drinks and a sit-down meal. We would advise sitting in the sun outside. As we found, it’s a popular spot so do book a table if you are planning to eat there.
Whilst the Nee In. Doesn’t have the spectacular scenery of some of the cafes on the island it just has a lovely quiet, tranquil calm. A lovely feel to it, the staff were kind and attentive, we did go into the bar to pay and there was a wait to pay our bill but there didn’t seem to be many people serving and they were serving inside and out because the weather was stunning. But they were polite and courteous and apologetic if we had waited. The food was delicious. I had the chicken Caesar burger which was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone as they brought us out food, drinks and sauces. A really lovely visit. Thank you.
What a pub It’s a gem , staff so so helpful when we turned up like drowned rats. They found us a table and gave us such wonderful service. The food all looked amazing. We had sandwiches Crab was to die . What a lovely place to dry off. The staff were brilliant and gave us a history talk about the island , so so interesting. It’s a must visit if on the island
Good food but very overpriced. I had basically a chicken salad which was tasty but cost £27! Very expensive for what it was . Also ordered was a burger and chips, no side salad. This I understand was also nice but not worth £20. Lemonade is £4 per glass and desert was £10 for Eton mess which comprised of fruits of the forest, a bit of cream and a very slight amount of meringue. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the food and I totally understand that there are additional costs for exporting food from the main land but when St Martin's, which also has the same additional costs, can produce exceptional food for a fraction of the price it is really not justifiable.
Always had a good meal here whenever we have stayed on Tresco. Looking forward to 3 nights there this September . Im sure I wont be disappointed
