My friends and I visited 2 Belle Vue Avenue while staying in Widemouth Bay to celebrate a birthday. We had heard good things about this restaurant and we were not disappointed. The food was exceptional, perfectly cooked and portion sizes were just right. The squid and lamb starters, sea bass, hake, and duck mains, and Portuguese custard tarts for dessert were all delicious. The squid was a standout, cooked to perfection. The service was friendly and attentive, despite only two people working in the kitchen and front of house. Booking ahead is essential as the restaurant is small with only about 20 covers. We were able to secure a 6pm booking and had the place to ourselves, which didn't detract from the cozy atmosphere. If you have the chance to dine here, I highly recommend it. The team at 2 Belle Vue Avenue are creating some truly exceptional dishes.

Located in a quiet side street in Bude, 2 Belle Vue Avenue is a very popular and intimate restaurant with only about 20 seats. Booking in advance is essential due to its popularity. My spouse and I opted to order four starters in a tapas style instead of the traditional starter and main course. The kitchen handled this request with ease and we were delighted with our choice. The food was outstanding and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This charming little restaurant has a very knowledgeable waiter who knows the food well. The homemade mackerel pate was delicious, and my husband said the calamari was very fresh and perfectly cooked. The hake with champ and broccoli was also very tasty. My husband's steak was cooked just the way he requested. Unfortunately, we were too full for dessert, but the selection looked tempting. We will definitely be making a return visit next time we are in Bude.

Service and food are totally spot on. We had the Calamari and Pulled Lamb to start followed by the Confit Duck and Hake with a gorgeous Viognier. Everything was cooked to perfection and delicious. Service was efficient and friendly. Result! Highly recommended.
