Black Lobster

Delicious food! Despite its small size, don't be fooled. My wife and I were hesitant at first, but we are so glad we decided to stay. She ordered the chicken tacos and I had the seafood tacos, both of which were excellent. The ingredients were fresh and the seasoning was perfect. We wish we could have tried more dishes. The restaurant is also dog-friendly. The staff were friendly and they had a nice selection of drinks and beers. We will definitely be returning. There are rumors of a new restaurant opening, so we are excited to investigate. We love this place and highly recommend giving it a try if you get the chance. Just be aware that they only have outdoor seating, so they may not be open in bad weather.

Food is great, understaffed but food comes out at an expected pace, lovely view and lots of seating, tacos are amazing.

After reading reviews I thought give this place a whirl . Wish I hadn’t bothered within 15 mins of opening while stud in a line of 4 people waiting to be served she had run out of lobster !! ,so we opted for the dirty fries with blackened prawns (they were just standard king prawns with seasoning) and the crab taco she said 25 mins wait thought fine not a problem fresh food takes time to cook after 45 mins of waiting we still hadn’t got our order nor had the couple in front of us , when the food finally came it wasn’t even worth the wait . the so called dirty fries was just a spicy slaw with 4 prawns what was just standard king prawns not blackened any way shape or form the crab taco was pathetic tiny little thing hadn’t even seen crab if it tried again just more slaw the price I’d of expected more oh and no fork to eat it with or napkins to wipe your hands with or after . It could of been a little gem and a gold mine but it just seems like the owners given up !!

Once you get past the ASDA car park (the ONLY ADSA in UK without a green ASDA sign! the Black Lobster has stunning sunset views over Hayle Harbour, the best calamari in town and highly recommend fish tacos and chips to live music on a Friday Evening!
