My partner had a goats cheese and pesto flat bread which was also very tasty. The place itself is comfortable with books lining the walls that you can pick up and read, definitely a readers paradise! Even though it was busy service was excellent.
The coffee at this restaurant was very good and they proudly displayed their Fairtrade certification on the wall. I was pleased to see that even the sugar they used was Fairtrade. However, when I asked about other Fairtrade options, the staff seemed unsure. Overall, I had a positive experience. The baguettes were tasty and I noticed the cakes looked delicious as well. Fairtrade is important to me, which is why I chose this coffee shop, so I hope they become more knowledgeable about it in the future.
We ventured here on St Pirans day for breakfast. Staff milling around not being managed well. Sat with the pooch inside, whoops mistake no dogs so we sat in the cold outside. We ordered two baguettes one bacon, one chicken. Mine was nice enough but my son has a number of mental issues....he didn't like his. I know it's best to get off the table anything he doesn't like so as soon as the very nice young lad caught my eye, I politely asked if it could be taken away, to much butter....I was asked if we wished for a replacement, no honestly it's fine not needing to make it a thing. Job done, disaster avoided......oh no...Mr owner Comes crashing in with a heavy hand not seen outside Fawlty Towers, who he barked ordered the chicken...I tasted it it was fine but here he literally stuffed a fiver in to my now very bewildered sons hand. I curl up, this could just tip him, I bite my lip I say I didn't ask for a refund please it's fine....on his heel he turns...job done, stoopid customer told. So thank you, that nearly invoked a melt down, we donated your fiver, we will not ever be back. I own a cafe in Cornwall, I live in Cornwall dont assume anything about your customers just treat them with respect, deliver service and keep smiling
This is a gem in the heart of Redruth, heart of Britain's tin mining history. Beautiful cream pastry as good as one I had in Lisbon, washed down with a great cup of Latte. Good welcome from nice staff you can sit outside in one of many comfortable chairs tables do yourself a favour and get down there at the bottom of Fore Street.
Pizza night. A good night out in redruth . Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, and topped off with good food. We will definitely return.
