It can be a bit challenging to locate, as the sign outside only mentions 'cream teas', so make sure to turn around at the tin mine down the road. The car park is small, but we managed to find a spot. We were warmly greeted and enjoyed sitting in the lovely garden under a large umbrella. Our group included myself, my daughter, and my 7-year-old granddaughter. The scones were fluffy and delicious, and we didn't mind the big mugs of tea, although some guests have mentioned a preference for teapots. We had made a note to visit this place during our stay in Carbis Bay, and we are glad we did.
I have been coming to this restaurant for years and have always loved the atmosphere, the delicious cream tea, and the friendly staff. However, I was extremely disappointed to find out that they have stopped serving tea in teapots and cups and saucers, and now use mugs instead. Please, Rosemergy, bring back the teapots!
The scones at this restaurant are the lightest and tastiest! They may be simple, but they are perfectly fine. The service is friendly and there is a lovely garden to sit in. I would prefer to support an independent establishment like this, as the quality and experience were much nicer too!
Very happy to visit our favourite tea garden. Always welcoming and lovely scones and cake to go with our drinks. When we have friends staying we check the weather and bring them here.
A group of 12 of us local walkers turned up for cream teas and cakes around 4 pm. The service was friendly and helpful and we all totally enjoyed our food. The portions were generous and delicious and the garden we sat in was lovely. Great finding!
