Royal Oak Inn

The restaurant offers a fantastic selection of delicious food on their menu. The staff is lovely and provides excellent service. The location is convenient and receives a top rating. Overall, the restaurant is a great value and would be a highlight for any hotel stay.

Although I didn't stay at the restaurant, I went for afternoon tea and it was wonderful. I will definitely be returning. The service and location both received a rating of 5 out of 5.

Very upset. Two weeks after having a pre-booked lunch here I receive a £100 parking fine for parking in the pub car park. No doubt there are signs telling you to do something or other to avoid this but I was intent on getting in in time for the booking. I feel that, at the very least, the person booking us in should have checked whether we had come by car but I felt at the time that they were a little offhand. Very unlikely to return. Service: 1
