I arrived at the restaurant for a takeaway and found it empty. I placed my order and was told it would take an average of minutes for the dishes and sides to be ready. As I sat waiting, minutes passed with no sign of my order. Other customers began to arrive and leave with their meals. When I asked a staff member what was happening, I received a curt reply that they were busy. I explained that the restaurant was not busy when I placed my order, yet other customers were being served before me. I ended up waiting for hours in total. I do not recommend this restaurant at all. The service was terrible, with staff lying about wait times and the order in which customers were served. To make matters worse, the food did not taste good. The Bombay potatoes were bland, and the chicken in the korma was tough. Additionally, the prices were very high compared to other Indian takeaways. A personal note: avoid having a curry on a Tuesday, as most decent takeaways are closed. In conclusion, it is best to avoid this restaurant at all costs.

I waited for an hour for my takeaway order, as I was originally told, only to receive a cold meal. When I called to complain, I spoke to a manager who suggested I just eat the meal and promised a discount on my next order. When I requested a fresh meal instead, he insisted I would have to wait another hour. I explained that I needed a hot meal due to a positive COVID test, but he still demanded I return the old meal to the driver. The new meal I received was clearly microwaved, with rubbery prawns and soggy bhajis. I am concerned about what happened to my old meal after I returned it. Despite previous positive experiences at this restaurant, this time I believe the manager's ego hindered a simple solution. While I appreciate the hot meal, the manager's attitude made me feel like a criminal.

We went out for a family meal and were promptly welcomed and seated. The drinks were quickly served and our food order was efficiently taken. The starters and mains we ordered were delicious and arrived promptly. Our favorite dish was the lamb sag, which we all agreed was exceptional. The service from the young man who served us was also very attentive. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend this restaurant!

Had a takeaway last night. Prices are really good and they deliver to many places around St Austell which is fantastic! I ordered a chicken passanda, rice and naan. Order was piping hot on arrival and delivery driver really friendly! However, although a passanda is...a mild curry, there was no spice in it at all and it was incredibly sweet! Even in a mild curry, you still expect ‘mild’ spice but there was none at all. It was overpoweringly sweet to the point where I couldn’t finish it. The naan and rice were tasty but just expected more from the curry itself!

Delivery last night, wine breathing, beer cooling, and then we’ll within their time slot our driver arrives. Piping hot food....absolutely delicious supper, saved some to today! Always happy to recommend. Nice friendly staff too. Well established restaurant with I think, corkage added if you want...to take your booze in result! Cheap night out....leave with a happy tummy!
