The Cornish Pantry

Good basic food at cheaper prices than the surrounding options. The canteen dining hall has nice artwork and a good place to rest your bones before going back to the cliffs. They had a vegan option, which was nice if a bit spicy but had delicious pastry, and the cheese pasties and chips were delicious. Staff were nice, and it was a cosy canteen atmosphere.

We came down today with our family from overseas and apart from the very talkative young lady that served us I was actually shocked at how badly the staff behaved there was a man eating his lunch obviously on his break in his uniform shouting over to another male member of staff for quite some time that was walking around crashing and banging doors glasses plates and the benches the food was overpriced and sub standard as a local we felt embarrassed that we had chosen this place to take out family I most definitely won't be recommending this place we were offered compensation in the form of cups of tea which really is an insult won't be coming back

As frequent patrons of this cafe, we should have known better. When my wife suggested we grab something on our way to Lands End, I thought why not. However, we were extremely disappointed with the poor quality, tasteless, and overpriced food. It left us either hungry or with a stomach ache. While we are regular visitors to Cornwall, Lands End is a place we will not be returning to. It is filled with second-rate businesses, only interested in making a profit with their tacky gift shops, lackluster attractions, and tasteless food establishments.

I've never tasted fish and chips as delicious as these! The waitress was also very friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will visit again next time we are in the area.
