The Engine House At Compton Park

Fantastic views in this cafe/restaurant. We have been here several times over the last few years. It never disappoints, such a varied menu and a specials board. Prices are very reasonable. We have enjoyed breakfasts, sandwiches and cooked meals. Not once have we been disappointed. Portions are ample, food is always hot. Service is quick and although it is very busy every time we’ve always found a table. If you are more than 2 or 3 I would recommend you book in advance. The toilets are always clean as they are used by the campsite too.

My mum brought me in for breakfast this morning the staff were friendly and polite on greeting us and said we could sit where we liked so sat upstairs by the window the view is beautiful really great spot . We ordered a breakfast and hot drinks it all came out promptly and was delicious we sat and chatted for a while staff cleared the table once we had finished and we were encouraged to stay as long as we liked . I will definitely be coming back and will recommend to friends . Thank you to the staff for a wonderful experience

Well we’ve been here often and visit whenever in the area, great breakfast venue need to be on time to get a decent table. Good quality so good and always hits the spot. Make sure you find the specials board as well as the extensive menu! All freshly cooked and decent sizes for the hungry .. Look forward to the next trip

First time visiting will be the last had the cooked breakfast so greasy horrible could not eat it. Will not be back lovely place view to die for
