We both ordered the large mixed grill, which I must say was the best meal I have ever had at a Wetherspoons pub. The plate was filled with fresh and hot food. We will definitely return when we are next in Perranporth.
Only went to this pub for a breakfast with family not seeing any signs but will admit this would be the first pub carpark with pay and display. No signs on entering pub and no one asked for our pay and display ticket, breakfast was...good but service not. weeks later received a fine for parking in pub carpark for hour. PLEASE BEWARE weatherspoons response was ‘oh sorry’ I’m never going back there. So looking at the feedbacks because of parking neither are a lot of other people!!!
Warning to all customers: The parking at Green Parrot is pay and display. We received a ticket because we didn't realize this and didn't see any signs indicating it. Breakfast was decent and the staff were okay, but one girl collecting breakfast items was unfriendly and wouldn't speak. We won't be returning due to the parking situation. Wetherspoons, please ask your Perranporth staff to put up a sign in the pub so customers are aware of the charges for parking. You are missing out on a lot of business, as evidenced by other reviews.
We always visit the Green Parrot when we are in Perranporth ..... food is always absolutely perfect ...... the staff are so lovely and nothing is too much trouble .... well done to the fab staff here !
We spoke to the manager, a larger woman, who did not give us her name. She refused to refund us and instead offered us soft drinks that did not add up to the same amount as the alcoholic drinks. She was rude to us and spoke to us as if we were causing trouble, even though we were not. The friend without his ID had already had one drink, so it was really their mistake. I asked the manager why she was taking my drink when I had been IDd and had paid for it, but she did not have a response and just took it. At that point, we were more upset about how we were treated than losing the drinks. The manager lacked interpersonal skills and seemed unsure of how to handle the situation. The food was only alright.
