Idyllic location with excellent service. We felt that the menu was somewhat limited, but the food was delicious. 10 of 10 for decoration!

An outstanding venue for Sunday lunch. Great food, professional and friendly service and superb ambience. Always a good experience.

It was a very quiet evening ,although things did get a bit busier later on. The person on reception was lovely welcoming, friendly and efficient. Wasn’t so sure about the gentleman who took our drinks order who maybe seemed a little offhand ... We were then served our drinks and meal by someone else who was, if anything, a little too solicitous! We were told that “the chef is ready for you now” and were moved to our table (with our drinks), only to have quite a wait in a very empty dining room before even the amuse bouche was served. This was a shame as the lounge area had been cosy and comfortable! The smell of lilies near our table was rather overpowering but I really should have mentioned this at the time. All in all, I would return, but would also consider other places as well.

Top quality food and great service in an excellent location at good value for money.

First class in every aspect of the word, I can not emphasise how great our experience was. The food was perfection. The attention to detail on the service was appreciated, serving ladies first. We’re young, but certainly appreciated the traditional approach to service. 5* and would recommend, and will be back in the summer.
