My favorite option for £4.75 is the savory cream tea (or a black coffee for me). You can choose between Davidstow cheese or blue cheese and walnut, served with a small pot of apple and onion chutney. The only downside was that the scones seemed a bit dry this time. Besides that, I enjoyed sitting on a high stool and watching the world go by.
Lovely little independent teashop. We had cream tea for two and it was delicious. The scones were light and fluffy full of fruit. We brought two to take away as a treat later on too. Service was fab and would definitely go back again
One of the best cream tea’s to date, both of us loved the scones. I’m not a massive fan of tea but even I enjoyed the brew. The wife was over the moon with the tea pot and the little cups it came with. Couldn’t have asked for more. Service great and staff very polite.
**** lovely little place, after a traumatic experience in another place in Looe we found ourselves here for a cream tea, absolutely delicious, first class service and a lovely lady serving. Highly recommend a visit!
Great coffee, good food, friendly staff. The bread was fresh and sandwiches freshly made to order. The cakes home baked and tasty. The premises is small and away from the main crowds, a real oasis in a busy tourist spot.
