The Pizza Ape

Food was excellent would recommend for anyone staying in bude, nice and fresh and the staff are lovely.

While visiting family in Kilkhampton, we were exhausted after a day of crabbing. We decided to order three pizzas, two orders of chips, and a garlic bread totaling £55. Unfortunately, the pre-made pizza bases were very chewy and doughy. Nobody enjoyed the crust as we found the base to be overwhelming. It was disappointing and we would not consider returning to this restaurant.

The staff at the restaurant were very friendly and polite, and everything seemed fine when I opened my Rooster burger and chips at home. However, the chicken tasted terrible, almost as if it had been purchased from a local Chinese restaurant. The coating on the chicken was soggy and fell off as we tried to eat it, and the chicken itself tasted processed and was inedible. I was very disappointed and would not return to this restaurant.

This restaurant is a small but cozy spot with charming decor. The pizza here is truly delicious and the kids absolutely loved it. I highly recommend this place and we will definitely be returning in the future.

Great pizza, amazing fries and great pricing. Would recommend if in the area. Staff are very friendly. Cheers guys
