Local pub but very friendly and the locals are great

Very nice, clean friendly and safe. And a decent pint as well ????

They tell you it’s a half hour wait when ordering food and hour and half later still no food and it’s too late to even go somewhere else for food now. Disgusting service. Cannot believe not even an apology just get told they are going as quick as they can. You should never say it’s only a half hour wait if it’s over 3 times that!

We were pleased to discover this pub on a Friday evening. The staff were friendly and there were plenty of places to sit. We opted for the fish and chips and weren’t disappointed. These were excellent. This is clearly a popular pub with the locals and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

We had walked out from Mevagissey to Chapel Point and called in here on our return journey. The service was friendly and we found a bench to sit outside in the sunshine. My cider was good, and very welcome after the walk. They were not serving tea or coffee at the time of our visit, but we were told we were welcome to get a hot drink from the Shack right next door, and bring it into the pub, which was very helpful. We would definitely call in here again when walking in the area.
