Beautiful lunch no complaints but felt it unnecessary to put parsnips and cauliflower cheese on as an extra side with the cost of £4 , this is basic stuff that is normally included in the cost of your carvery

Visited yesterday afternoon and would normally have a roast on a Sunday as it’s always fantastic, but got tempted by the specials menu, the calamari starter was incredible! For main I had the ‘Tomerpork’ which was beautiful, cooked and presented perfectly. 5 Stars as always!

Beautiful Valentines evening meal this evening, not only valentines but every time! We visit the shire on a regular basis purely because the food is always great and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. we always have a lovely evening there, I’d recommend this lovely pub to anyone! Always accommodate my gluten allergy very well. 5 stars

This is our regular Sunday roast haunt. Again, the perfect roast on offer last night. Gammon and beef were absolutely beautiful and perfect crispy roast potatoes. Always rely on the shire, never disappoints. Thanks to all the team.

Fantastic carvery, always tasty. Lovely staff who are always really helpful even though they are rushed off their feet. Treat yourself to a yummy slice of cake too! Highly recommend this restaurant and would gladly come here every night!
