The Western Inn

We were able to get a last-minute reservation and the service and food were excellent. The meals were homemade and delicious, and the owner was very friendly.

We had trouble finding restaurants in the area, so we decided to stop at the Western Inn for dinner. We ordered fish and chips, which were decent but nothing special. The service was friendly, and there is a small car park located at the side of the inn.

My partner and I were visiting St Austell for the night with another couple. After having dinner elsewhere, we decided to grab a drink and stumbled upon The Western Inn. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, we were greeted warmly and made to feel like part of the family. It happened to be their first karaoke night and the atmosphere was fantastic. After a few drinks, we all took turns singing on the karaoke machine. All four of us agreed that we had never experienced such a welcoming and friendly pub before. Thank you for a wonderful evening, we will definitely be returning and will be recommending The Western Inn to anyone visiting St Austell!

Recently found this lovely family run pub, so impressed have made it my local. A warm welcome from Leah and Dave who run the pub and from all the friendly staff make this the ideal establishment to enjoy a drink, excellent food and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend the Sunday lunch!

On arrival the staff was very friendly and welcoming, I ordered the burger which came with chips and a side salad, and now the disappointing bit, I had about 10 chips and a very poor quality of burger, surely for the price of meal they could get there burgers from a local butchers, it tasted like a cheap economy supermarket burger.
