Wroes Ocean View Coffee Shop

As a family we were staring in Bude for a long weekend. As typical with the British weather we had a rainy day so wondered around the town and decided to take a break in the cafe in Wroes store. With a view out to sea its a nice spot to relax. The drinks were a very reasonable price and the hot chocolate with Marshmallows, cream and a flake was amazing. Although we didn't sample the cakes they looked lovely. Well worth a visit and much nicer and with hotter drinks much better than most chain coffee shops.

On a short break in Cornwall. Decided to go to Bude. Had nice time looking round. Decided to have a coffee in Wroes store. Had the best coffee, bacon sandwich cake we’ve had in a long time. Certainly worth a visit.

The photo says it all: proper local, perfectly poached, free-range egg, tender ham, Hollandaise and toast. And tea. And that Summerleaze view never to be tired of. Hits the spot every time.

Great food, friendly staff, quick service at a very busy lunch time. Nice atmosphere. Thankyou for allowing dogs.

A lovely cafe with a superb view, comfy seats and excellent portions of jam, cream, scones and tea. Staff very helpful and pleasant, and were very attentive when a child near us had an issue.
